During our summer travels to Italy, we met an artist who painted portraits by day, and in the evenings she would paint landscapes to display in a nearby art gallery. Since my mother continually searched for a new painting each summer, she came upon a beautiful scene of a villa the artist grew up in. The Gabriella design is named after the artist because it is reminiscent of her work and spectacular use of rich color.

FOUNDATION PLAN Most plans are available with a slab or crawlspace foundation. Optional walkout style basement (three walls masonry with a wood framed rear wall with notes for the builder to locate the windows and doors) and optional full basement foundation available if the plan allows, at an additional cost.
FLOOR PLANS Each home plan includes the floor plan showing the dimensioned locations of walls, doors, and windows as well as a schematic electrical layout (not available for log homes).
SET OF ELEVATIONS All plans include the exterior elevations (front, rear, right and left) that show and describe the finished materials of the house.
MISCELLANEOUS DETAILS These are included for many interior and exterior conditions that require more specific information for their construction.
ROOF OVERVIEW PLAN This is a "bird's eye" view showing the roof slopes, ridges, valleys and any saddles.

Q:Can you provide me a copy of the walkout basement layout available with this plan? Would the first floor layout change for a basement foundation? Specifically, where would the stairs leading to the basement be on the first floor?
A:Hello,
Thank you for your interest in our home plan design. The attachment shows the location for basement stairs. The basement/walk out basement layout outlines the total living space of the main floor plan only; walk out basement is open to the rear of plan…BASEMENT LAYOUTS ARE NEVER PLACED UNDER GARAGES AND PORCHES. The basement stair adds approximately 4’-5’ ft to the depth of the plan.

Q:Where does the bonus room go? Is there an unfinished basement?

Thank you for your interest in one of our home plan designs. The bonus room will be over the length of the garage. The basement option is an unfinished basement layout.
We also have a walk out basement option as well for this plan.
Q:I have a couple of questions regarding House Plan 1140. How much additional drawing time is needed for 2 x 6 construction? Also, would the studs on 2 x 6 be placed at 18 or 24-inch intervals?

A:Thank you for your interest in one of our home plans. The time it will take for a 2x6 construction is between 1-3 days. The studs for 2x6 will be placed at 16 inch intervals.
